When it comes to getting to know the island’s hot spots and must-sees, it’s hard to beat the insight that a local can share with you. I’m sitting down with our staff members individually to get their thoughts on must-try dining, favorite experiences, island secrets, plus what makes the Frangipani a unique setting. What’s your favorite thing about Anguilla?
The Anguillian people. Everyone is very friendly and always willing to help.
What do you think makes the Frangipani a unique experience for guests?
The hospitality! With such a small resort, you get to know the staff members during your stay. It’s like a little family.
What do you think is the island’s best kept secret?
There’s a beach in Little Harbour that’s beautiful and secluded. The sand is pink-hued there — it’s really pretty and very different than the bright white sands that you typically see in Anguilla.
When it comes to dining, what’s your favorite restaurant on the island?
Sandbar in Sandy Ground. It’s walking distance from my house!
When it comes to must-sees and attractions, what are your top recommendations for guests?
1. Take a trip to Sandy Island for lunch and snorkeling
2. Head to Scrub Island and take a swim off the shore
3. Jump off the rock in Little Bay — it’s a must!
What do you think is the #1 thing a guest should experience?
Little Bay is really a must when you’re in Anguilla. When you go by boat, you get the full experience. The views of Anguilla’s coast and of Little Bay itself are beautiful, Plus, jumping off the rock is a really memorable experience!
